I truly appreciate all of your suggestions and ideas for helping with my morning sickness.
I wish I could say so far something has helped but no...I am still wanting to be put in a coma for the next 3 months. Ugh.
Just to let you know, I have severe morning sickness with ALL my pregnancies so this is nothing new to me. I throw up continuously from 6 weeks to 16 weeks with no break. I have tried unisom, not taking prenatals, eating before I get up, ginger in every form, and all the other methods people and books recommend. And not one of them has worked. This weekend the doctor prescribed phenergan which I tried with no success either. Monday she gave me Zofran which is proving to be no good either. I spent all day yesterday throwing up despite taking the medicine. I called her back today to see what she wants to do now. She said in her 2 years of working at this clinic they have only had one mom they couldn't help. I am afraid I am going to be #2. My morning sickness is that bad.
So I am here, suffering, and trying to maintain a positive attitude despite the puking and nausea. It will all be over at the 14-16 week mark as it always does but that is a long long wait.

Man that's so unfair. I wonder what makes it so much worse for some people? The person that figures it out and cures it is going to be very, very rich. And very popular with pregnant women!
I am hope it all gets better soon for you!
Also, DO NOT WORRY about that other thing we have talked about. It can wait until things are going better for you. Take care of yourself!
:(
I truly am sorry. I remember how sick I was with my first child especially and have stories about leaving a full cart of groceries to run out into the parking lot and literally threw up next to my car (I still feel bad about that to this day... gross) and I kept an empty coffee can in the car at ALL TIMES for the same reason. I was sick for 5 months straight.
So again... I really feel horrible for you. I hate being nauseated... HATE IT. I think it's far worse than contractions or child birth! LOL.
in canada we have a medication called DICLECTIN: http://diclectin.com/
it's basically one of the vitamin B's. and i think you can get a shot with the same vitamin in the states.
Hey, your a lucky woman! For both of my pregnancies, I was sick at least 3 times a day, usually more, for the ENTIRE pregnancy. Not to say it doesn't suck, cause man, yesterdays stomach flu about killed me, but yeah, a baby is a much better product then what I was creatin' yesterday!! :)
I hope the good part of the pregnancy comes after this because if you are going to suffer for eight more months I suggest you get on a plane and spend with me in sunny Vegas. At least then you'll be TAN and miserable. :)
you poor poor girl...I feel so bad for you. we had one girl that had to get homecare, she was on IV to stop the puking, she was so sick. She had something strange too, can't remember the name off the top of my head but it was excessive drooling...she needed to wrap towels around her neck.
God be with you, it won't be long, hang in there girl.
xx
